PR TRAINING GROUP: Members of the Cincinnati Galloway training program can chose to join this group if they have completed at least one marathon and are interested in improving that time, qualifying for Boston, or just enhancing their training with coach supported sessions. Warning: any form of speedwork greatly increases risk of injury. We will begin this training following the Hill repeat training.

HILL REPEATS: This is a progressive program so those who are interested in this sports specific strength training will need to begin at the start of the program to be able to train during the season.

MILE REPEATS: Begins after hill repeats. This is also a progressive training program and is specific for those who have already run a marathon and are looking to better their time. Mile repeats are done on a track specific to your particular goal time.

TEMPO TRAINING: This is a 4 to 5 mile training session set up as a dress rehearsal for the race.

ULTRA MARATHONING: The Cincinnati Ultra Trailblazers C.U.T. Join us if you think you can cut it! ( a group of 14 Galloway members) successfully completed the training and ran the JFK 50 miler November 18 2006. All 14 runners finished the race! Many other accomplishments in the Ultra arena including Suzelle and her running partner, Jeff completing Umstead 100 mile Endurance Trail Race in April 2008. More to come!!

Ultra Training includes trail runs along with 50K races to prepare for the longer distances.
